The purpose of the patient portal is to clarify instructions or deal with quick questions that may arise between appointments. Unfortunately we am not able to address either more involved medical concerns or other general medical question. ***Please allow at least 72 hrs for responses to enquiries.*** If there are issues that may require more in depth involvement or explanations please book a follow up appointment.
Please be aware that all prescriptions are prescribed with a duration to last until the next appointment. As such, refill requests will only be needed if you postpone / delay the appointment. There is a $75 charge for refills done outside of an appointment. This fee can be payed via etransfer to etransfer@truebalancecalgary.com

"We greatly appreciate your ongoing support for our Hormone Replacement Therapy program. It's been our privilege to assist many patients throughout Alberta, enhancing their well-being from within. We recognize that the cost of private healthcare is substantial for many. However, in our ongoing effort to maintain the highest standard of service, it is necessary to introduce new pricing, effective December 1, 2023.
This adjustment, our first since 2014, is essential to maintain and enhance the quality of care throughout your True Balance journey. Your understanding and continued support during this transition are deeply valued. As always, we remain committed to assisting you in achieving your objectives and finding your True Balance.
Preliminary Consultation (required for all new patients): $99
For your Preliminary Appointment (phone or video), we'll discuss your health goals and medical history to determine your eligibility for potential bioidentical hormone therapy. Before this appointment, kindly complete the "First Appointment Questionnaire" available in the patient portal. If eligible, a custom lab requisition will be created for you to use prior to your next appointment (Primary Consultation).
Primary Consultation: $400
At your primary consultation (phone, video or in-person) we will review your lab results and develop a treatment plan appropriate to your health goals. The treatment plan may include hormone therapy options, supplements, lifestyle modifications and recommendations for further laboratory monitoring.
Follow-up Consultation: $225
During your follow-up consultation (phone, video or in-person), we will review your latest lab results, discuss any changes in your health status, and update your treatment plan. While these consultations are typically conducted twice a year, the frequency may be adapted based on your response to the therapy. "
